I don’t know what to do with myself.

RACHEL — Ambitious, obsessive, and controlling. Willing to do just about anything in order to get herself that much closer to her inevitable future on Broadway. She has a big heart and is willing to help out other glee club members in their time of need, but her motives often get tangled up with theirs, and nine times out of ten, she chooses herself.

KURT — Courageous, proud, and vulnerable. Maintains his image as unflappable ice queen and knows how to manipulate situations to his advantage, but the overwhelming amount of love he has for his family and friends always completely disarms him. Stands up for himself and others, even when it gets him into foolish and dangerous situations.

QUINN — Shrewd, manipulative, and intelligent. She takes a calculating attitude toward everything in her life, and she is one of the very few people who can put Sue Sylvester in her place.

FINN — Kind, naïve, and loyal. Deep down, he’s a good person, but his issues with trying to please as many people as possible often leads him to resort to martyrdom and defensiveness. Most of his decisions stem from the expectations placed on him by his peers.

PUCK — Self-involved, short-tempered, and promiscuous, yet he constantly feels the need to prove himself to those he cares about. The James Potter of McKinley High.

SANTANA — Cunning, level-headed, and judgmental. Only allies with those who can benefit her. Tends to be jealous and hostile to those who threaten her status or relationships.

BRITTANY — Caring, innocent, and friendly. Very open to people, easily trusts others, and does what she can to help out her friends, despite her tendencies toward obedience.

WILL — Constantly talks up a storm about how much he cares about the kids in glee club, yet constantly prioritizes his pursuit of Emma over the needs of the club. Gives the club poor direction, as evidenced by the fact that their best performance was when Will was nowhere to be found. Etc.

Nutella hot chocolate.

• 1 cup whole milk (feel free to substitute skim, rice, almond, etc)
• 3 tb Nutella or other chocolate-hazelnut spread
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1 tsp high-quality cocoa powder
• 1 or more marshmallows
• pinch of espresso powder (optional)

In a heavy-bottomed sauce pan over a low flame, whisk together the milk, Nutella, cocoa powder, and espresso (if using). Add cinnamon stick. Simmer for about 5 minutes, to allow flavors to meld.
